Fall Athleisure Favorites

Aren't these velvet leggings amazing

This is the time of year where things start to get crazy. A million events, errands, and festive treats. Whether you decide to hit the gym to work off the calories and stress or just dress like you did (no shame in that game), I’m sharing a few of my favorite fall athleisure favorites.

I’m going to start out with the cream of the crop. I’ve been a fan of Lululemon for longer than my children have been alive. It isn’t cheap, but their products are built to last. Their return policy is fantastic and styles are always on point. I had a gift card burning a hole in my pocket so I grabbed these adorable velvet flocked leggings and this cropped mesh tank. Both were on sale in store, but the leggings are still full price online. I’ve already worn the tank twice (don’t worry, I washed it in between) and love this style. Both are good splurge options.

Next up is this 3 piece set from Ellie Activewear (C/O Ellie). Ellie is an active wear subscription box that allows you to receive 2-5 pieces of active wear from $39 – 49 a month. I received the three piece set with this hooded pullover, leggings and a sports bra. The quality of the items I received were amazing and I loved the color block style of these leggings. I really liked the fit of the sports bra, but I’m not exactly the type to post photos of myself just wearing a bra. #imold

As far as sizing goes, I did think the leggings ran a tad big, but everything else ran true to size. This would be such a fun monthly gift idea for any athleisure lover with the holidays around the corner!

I have worn these Amazon leggings to the gym before, but decided to style them for this photo as a more “on the go” look. While it is fun to splurge on brand name options occasionally, I’m also a huge fan of affordable options. These side pocket tights run true to size and are only $23. A similar brand on Amazon even sells a two pack of leggings for only $36 (I also own these and love them). Are they as good as the $100 Lululemon version? Probably not. But are they really dang close and 1/4 of the price. Heck yeah! Don’t be afraid to try a pair! They all run true to size (I’m in a small).

Last up are these cute mesh shorts (they have built in biker shorts underneath) and seamless sports bra by Marika (C/O). I’ve known about the affordable Marika brand for years, but they’ve definitely stepped it up a notch as far as style goes. These shorts are something totally different than what I’ve ever seen before and were super cute on. And it doesn’t hurt it is still in the 80’s during the day here in AZ, so shorts are still a big part of my day to day life. Both run true to size and would make great affordable gift ideas.

P.S. is my dog Rio the only dog who refuses to look when a camera is present? I swear she tries her hardest to avoid taking pictures in her old age.

So that’s my fall athleisure recap. Which outfit is your favorite? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. Hi Jenny- are the burgundy leggings that you linked ( not the two pack ) the leggings that you are actually wearing with the leopard print top, in this post? The color is so cute but doesn’t look burgundy, more like a magenta. I like them either way!

    • Yes the ones I’m wearing are the burgundy color. I’d say they are a wine color in real life but are more burgundy than magenta. Definitely not pink. It might just be the lighting bc it was sunset time. They are pretty great so I think you’ll like them. Hope that helps!!
