Happy Wednesday, everyone! Today I’m joining The Pleated Poppy’s link-up for What I Wore Wednesday.
Before I get started, have you been following me on Instagram (@thesensibleshopaholic)? I’ve been upping my Instagram game and started posting outfit pics on a more regular basis. I realized my blog often talks about styles I love and amazing sales, but not how I bring it all together. I’m hoping my Instagram pics along with periodic What I Wore posts will help fill that void.
And guess what, today is your lucky day! I’m doing my very first blog giveaway via Instagram. It is one of those Instagram loop giveaways where you need to like and follow a bunch of other shops and bloggers on Instagram, but the prize is worth a few minutes to enter. I’m not joking, it is that good. A Tory Burch handbag, Tory Burch watch, Tory Burch scarf and a Tory Burch candle. Pretty sure there is no woman out there who would turn down that prize. It starts tonight (5/4) at 8:30 PM EST (5:30 PM PST). Head on over to my Instagram page for instructions on how to enter. The contest ends on 5/5 with the winner being announced on 5/6.
Marimekko tunic (exact here), Jack Rogers Alana sandals (great sale on the exact pair here), Kendra Scott necklace (similar here), J. Crew Factory bracelet (exact here).
I originally wrote about this tunic in my Marimekko by Target review post and these sandals in my Jack Rogers Alana post. The Jack Rogers sandals are now on sale at Nordstrom for quite a bit less than what I paid a few weeks back. In my opinion they run about a 1/2 size small so I recommend sizing up.
J. Crew Factory lightweight plaid popover (exact here), distressed GAP jean shorts (similar here), Tory Burch quilted studded sandals (exact here), Michael Kors crossbody bag in luggage (similar here), Kendra Scott Hayden and Isla necklaces (similar here).
I recently wrote about this top in my Dressy(ish) spring tops post and I’m in love with it. I made a trip to my local J. Crew Factory store a few weeks back and snagged it for $17. Pretty sure I’ll be wearing this one constantly this spring and summer. Well, maybe not on days when it is 115 degrees. #arizonaproblems
J. Crew Factory top (exact here), Paige Denim white jeans (exact here), Tory Burch quilted studded sandals (exact here), Kendra Scott Danielle earrings (exact here) and Tory Burch double wrap studded bracelet in cognac (exact here).
I also blogged about this top in my Dressy(ish) spring tops post. It is just as great in person as it is online.
Vineyard Vines gingham button down (exact here), Current and Elliott high waist skinny jeans (exact here), red Avalon Toms (red not available but exact pair in black and tan here), Tory Burch Robinson adjustable shoulder bag (red and white available here), Kate Spade skinny mini bow bangle (similar here), Kate Spade necklace (similar here).
I actually purchased this Tory Burch bag last summer in NYC at a sample sale. Amazing experience for a shopaholic and I snagged this bag for $115!!! The exact style bag in different colors goes for $450. Bargain. I also recently wrote about my new favorite red Toms. I’m obsessed with these and ordered them in black last week. So comfortable and I can’t wait for my black pair to arrive.
Lululemon Define Jacket (exact style, different patterns available here), Zella Live In leggings (exact here), Nike Dual Fusion X (similar here).
If this isn’t mom fashion, I don’t know what is.
Fabletics shorts (exact here), lululemon power Y tank (exact here), Nike Zoom Pegasus 32 (exact here).
Did you catch my post on Monday on Fabletics? I like the shorts, but lululemon still has my heart.
Grey GAP eyelet t-shirt (similar here), white J. Crew 3″ chino shorts (full price J. Crew retail version here and J. Crew Factory version here), Tory Burch logo lattice thong in coral (similar here), Kendra Scott Rae necklace in coral (similar here), Tory Burch double wrap studded bracelet in cognac (exact here).
Finally, every time I wear these Tory Burch sandals, I recall my shopping adventure last summer with my daughter. Anyone who has ever gone shopping with a small child can relate.
What do you guys think? Do you like the outfit posts with the links to each item? Should I continue doing the What I Wore Wednesday posts?
