18 Amazing Sweaters to Wear this Fall

This colorful striped sweater is so soft and comfortable

Sweater season has arrived! Well, not exactly in Arizona yet, but I’ve been pretending it has for the benefit of those living in the other 49 states. Our evenings have cooled down though and there is nothing better for me than curling up with a sweater, blanket, and wine by the fire. That’s why I’m sharing 18 fall sweaters you can cozy up in this season.

Disclaimer – several of the sweaters in this post were gifted from Chicwish, Willow and Clay, Sanctuary, and Evereve. I genuinely love every single item included in this post and would pay my own money to purchase them. My sponsors allow me to share more than my bank account would allow otherwise, but I 100% stand behind all of the sweaters included in this post. Also, this post contains affiliate links where I make a small commission when my link is used for your purchase. It doesn’t cost you anything, but helps me keep my blog live. Thank you for the support!!!

1. Black, Red and Tan Crewneck

This cotton knit striped sweater is super soft, fits true to size (I’m wearing a small here) and is perfect for fall and winter. Warm, not itchy and can easily be worn with a coat over the top. I also love that it works with both brown and black accessories.

2. Wavy Rainbow Sleeves

I'm in love with this cute wavy sleeve cardigan

First thing that comes to mind: SLEEVES. This wavy rainbow sleeve sweater has an oversized fit and is the perfect way to add some fun to a plain cream sweater. Dress it up or wear it casual like I am here. This sweater only comes in one size (S-M) but because of the oversized fit, I’d say it should fit most.

3. Khaki Turtleneck

Yep, turtlenecks are back! This roll neck pullover sweater comes in 8 different colors, including a few colorblock options. It ships on Amazon Prime and fits true to size (I’m wearing a small).

4. Ruffle Trim Pullover

Grey has been one of my go-to colors in during the cold weather seasons so this ruffle trim sweater jumped right out with me. I’m wearing it with jeans here but I can also see this one dressed up with a skirt or black pants.

5. Pink and White Waterfall Cardigan

This blush pink and white cardigan is so soft

Pink is always in-season, even in fall. This pink waterfall cardigan has white on the inside and is so insanely soft. I’ve already been wearing this one around the house and can see it working now through Valentine’s Day.

6. Rainbow Stripe Pullover

This striped rainbow sweater comes in other color combos and is under $25. I ordered a size small and it fits like it should, but I’ve been digging oversized sweaters this year. Personally, I wish I would have sized up for an oversized fit.

7. Heart Pom Pom Cardigan

This heart pom pom sweater is such a statement

I remember seeing this heart pom pom cardigan last year and absolutely falling in love with it. It’s such a statement piece and one that everyone will comment on. A couple things to note. It’s SO CUTE, but a tiny bit bulky so it likely won’t work under a coat. Also, the sleeves are more like 3/4 length so just keep that in mind. But I’m obsessed with it and can’t wait to get Kenzie the little girl version.

8. Mustard Cardigan

Yellow is one of those colors a lot of women are afraid of. However, I swear everyone could pull off mustard if they would just try it on. It is the perfect fall color, especially on this cozy knit cardigan. But if mustard isn’t your thing, this one is also available in 4 other colors and ships Prime.

9. Long Snakeskin Cardigan

I need this thin and cozy snake print cardigan

I actually purchased this entire outfit while shopping at Evereve a week or so ago, but I haven’t had a chance to take a better picture in it just yet. However, this knee length snakeskin cardigan is a thinner knit than most sweaters on this list and it the perfect in between sweater. Still soft and cozy, but not as bulky as most.

10. Slouchy Knit Pullover

I shared this sweater on Instagram a week or two ago and you guys went crazy for it. This is seriously the perfect slouchy sweater and it comes in 5 colors. One thing to note, because of the hand knit it does have a lot of natural holes in it. It’s how the sweater is designed and is no big deal, but you definitely need a cami or tank underneath. So stinking cute!

11. Green Knit Pullover

This green knit sweater is so cute with this panama hat

I’m having a major moment with hunter green this year. The fun detailed design on this knit pullover makes a subtle statement while being perfect for the holidays. This one is under $25 and also comes in cream.

12. Leopard Print Long Cardigan

A long cardigan is the perfect solution for those cool fall days so this leopard cardigan called my name. I think the length is so fun with this midi dress or wear it with jeans or pants when the weather truly cools down.

13. Colorful Stripe Crewneck

This soft and non itchy pullover is so cute

I’ll admit, I didn’t buy this sweater. Only reason is because I already own the rainbow striped one above and I live in the desert. However, I absolutely love the colors in this striped knit pullover and know it will match with so much. I’m wearing a size small here.

14. Size Button Beige Pullover

You guys might remember this side snap sweater from NYFW. I couldn’t resist sharing it again because while statement sweaters are fun, you’ll probably get more use out of the basics. This one comes in three colors and runs true to size.

15. Zebra Print Crewneck

Do you call this tiger print or zebra print? I’ve seen big debates on the internet, but personally, it’s zebra print for me. This pullover is super cozy and runs true to size (I’m wearing an XS here). It may not be able for shipping, but I still see it is available for in-store pickup at a number of Targets around town. I’ll leave it up to you guys to name the print.

16. Honeycomb Cardigan

I love this affordable honeycomb sweater

Alright, I wanted to buy this honeycomb cardigan (which comes in 5 other colors), but I resisted. In case you haven’t noticed, I have more than a few sweaters so I didn’t exactly need another. However, this cozy knit cardi is under $30 and is a great basic to have in your closet.

17. Muted Oversized Leopard Crewneck

Anyone hesitant on the whole leopard print trend? If you aren’t so sure, this subtle oversize leopard print pullover is the one for you. Yes, it is leopard print, but the muted colors make it not quite as much of a statement. It’s super soft and not itchy at all.

18. Chunky Knit Cardigan

Out of all the sweaters in this list, this camel chunky knit cardigan is definitely the chunkiest. The sleeves are such a statement and the the cardigan is made up of beige and ivory knit. I absolutely adore this one.
