Spring Booties

Beige booties

The bootie trend has been huge for a while, but until this year, the words “spring” and “booties” never really went together. Now, everywhere I look, women are still wearing booties well into April. Most of us have packed away the cold winter styles and replaced them with updated versions which are perfect for warmer weather. The good news is the bootie trend is going to continue well through summer and into fall.

Summer booties

Today I’m partnering up with Restricted Shoes to show you how to style your booties for spring. In case you’ve never heard of Restricted Shoes before, the company is based in LA and is family-owned and operated. Their prices are affordable and I’m pretty much in love with most of the styles on their website. I occasionally get overwhelmed shopping on some of the huge shoe websites out there (who has time to look at 17,000 pages of wedges?!) and found their selection was on-trend and easy to browse.

 Perforated Booties

I think the easiest way to wear booties in spring is to pick the right shoe. Your shearling-lined booties won’t look quite right with that floral dress. Personally, I’m a big fan of my Westwood booties for so many reasons. The sling back and open toe makes them 1/2 boot, 1/2 sandal, and the laser cut perforations give me a little built-in A/C. The stack heel is totally trendy right now and the light color goes well with my spring wardrobe. I’m wearing the taupe color in these photos, but they are also available in tan and black. They fit true-to-size and were comfortable from the moment I put them on.

Spring Booties

If you are looking for a slightly different style of bootie, I also really like this lace-up version or this one that doesn’t have the sling back.  Restricted also has some really cute sandals and wedges that would also be perfect for spring and summer. Now, here’s the best news: Restricted Shoes is offering 25% off for my readers using code SHOPAHOLIC25. Using the code, my taupe Westwood booties come down to under $50.  Nothing better than a good shoe sale!

Will you be wearing booties this spring?
