The Cutest Swim Cover-ups

White Cover-up with Embroidery

I spent my fair share of time at the beach or pool on my vacation. Yes, a nice swimsuit is a must-have, but I honestly believe a good cover-up is even more important. As I mom, I usually spend more time getting ready to go to the beach, walking to the beach, getting settled, taking kids to the bathroom, going to get snacks, walking back to the room to get whatever we forgot, etc… than actually swimming and suntanning. It is worth every penny to get a gorgeous cover-up that will be worn over and over and over.

I am so excited to partner up with Amita Naithani to spread the word about her GORGEOUS swim cover-up and resort wear collection. I’ll admit, I’m seriously obsessed with everything in Amita’s collection. She totally has an eye for style and if these photos say anything, she knows how to make a dang good cover-up.

I was lucky enough to receive three cover-ups from Amita’s summer 2017 collection to wear on my trip. I chose cover-ups that showed off three of the biggest trends for spring and summer: embroidery, fringe and the cold shoulder.

Embroidered Cover up

Look #1: Embroidery. How gorgeous is the embroidery detail on this white cover-up? The colors absolutely pop and the ruffle detail on the sleeves and skirt is just adorable. To top it off, they included coordinating tassels. I’m in love.

Look #2: Fringe. I can’t stop buying things with fringe. It is one of those trends I hope never goes away. As soon as I saw this black and white fringe cover-up, I knew it had to be mine. I love the mixing of patterns on this one, as well as the short sleeves so I didn’t get too hot in the sun. This cover-up was as comfy as can be.

Look #3: Cold Shoulder. Everywhere I look right now, shoulders are peeking out. I love this trend so much so it is no surprise I’m a huge fan of this black cold shoulder cover-up. It also has an eyelet detail to allow some skin to peek out, which I think is an appropriate amount. Not totally see-through, but clear it is meant to be worn with a swimsuit.

The summer 2017 line hasn’t quite hit stores yet, but you can find a bunch of similar designs by Amita Naithani at Lord and Taylor, Amazon, and Everything but Water. I seriously cannot pick a favorite cover-up. These are as pretty as can be and 100% my style.
