Faux fur has been such a huge trend this winter. Not only does fur help keep us warm when it is chilly outside, but it adds that extra bit of texture to any outfit. I’m a sucker for texture and layers so it should be no surprise that this fuzzy vest has become one of my new favorites.
I was ecstatic when the cutest online boutique, Inspire Fashion, asked me to collaborate with them on a post. I spent some time browsing their website and seriously loved every single item. Not only is their stuff cute, but almost everything is priced under $50. Stylish and affordable?! Now you are talking. I had a hard time picking a favorite item on their website, but I settled on this reversible faux fur vest.
Isn’t this vest so cute? It has the softest faux fur on one side and a herringbone pattern on the other (see the pic above). Even my kids were obsessed with the fur and couldn’t stop petting me. And get this, both sides of the vest features POCKETS!! Am I the only one who oddly loves pockets on any outfit? These pockets are the right depth for me to store my phone while chasing my kiddos around my house. I love the herringbone side, but I’m definitely partial to wearing the furry side out.
I styled this vest with a comfy black peplum top, white jeans and black booties. For some reason I love the combination of grey and white together, and the hint of black brings it right back to winter. Forget the whole “no white after labor day” rule! I’ve also worn this vest with a simple chambray shirt and a plaid top. Honestly, the color is such a pretty grey that it would pretty much match with anything.
Kelley, the owner of Inspire Fashion, was sweet enough to offer all my readers an additional discount on top of the already affordable prices. Use code JEN25 to take an additional 25% off your entire order! With the discount, my exact vest comes down to only $31. I’m actually having a hard time finishing this blog post because I can’t stop browsing the site for other cute things to buy. This long fringe cocoa sweater is calling my name and I love the detail on this lace-up sweater.
What do you think? Are you a fan of furry vests?
