It is no secret that I’m mad for plaid. Last winter, a plaid shirt, leggings and tall boots were pretty much my uniform. Although it isn’t quite cool enough for leggings and tall boots yet in Phoenix, I’ve started wearing plaid shirts, jean shorts and booties on repeat. I guess I consider it my updated Fall 2016 uniform.
The best thing about plaid shirts is they do not need to cost a lot. Yes, I adore a lot of the expensive ones J. Crew and Madewell, but it seems totally unnecessary to me to spend $80 on a flannel. Here are my favorite plaid tops for $20 or less.
