Happy New Year!! I know it has been ages since I’ve had a spare moment to even think about blogging. My family traveled over the holidays and after 11 amazing yet exhausting days, I’m finally back in AZ. It was so much fun to see our friends and family, but man, I’m tired!
Even though I haven’t yet recovered from the holidays, I’m never too tired to talk about a good sale. I received an email a few hours ago notifying me Lilly Pulitzer is having a one-day-only sale today (1/4/2016). That was the first time I had to type 2016. Weird. It will likely be 2 more months before that feels even remotely natural.
I feel like I should warn everyone. 98% of the items from this Lilly sale are perfect for spring and summer. The bulk of the country won’t be able to wear much from the sale for a long, long time. But if you have spring break plans, live somewhere warm or have no problem buying ahead for the summer, don’t hesitate because styles and sizes are selling out like hotcakes! All items are final sale, but shipping is free. Here are my picks:
I love this poppy scoop neck dress for $59 (originally $198). The pattern is typical Lilly – bright, eye-catching and cheerful. Since I’m probably like most of you and spent wayyy too much on gifts this year, I’m doing my best to resist buying this dress. We will see if that is possible.
I’m obsessed with the colors and pattern of this Abigail shift dress for $119 (originally $198). However, the only size left in stock is a 00. No way am I remotely close to wearing a double zero, especially after the last 11 days. Yes, the holidays sure got the best of my waistline. #damncookiesandcheese
Aren’t the colors of this Iona silk shell pretty? I could even see this one paired under a suit or cardigan at work. Cute top for $44 (originally $148). Now if only silk and kids mix….
I have a pair of 3″ Walsh shorts that I purchased during the last After Party sale and they continue to be one of my go-tos in my closet. The style is simple and they fit true-to-size. So cute for $34 (originally $58).
This Sydney caftan dress is really cute. Still a tad spendy at $99 (originally $268), but if you have a beach vacation planned, you should probably purchase this one immediately. Although I personally don’t want to even think about a swimsuit today…
If you are still looking for a 2016 (still weird to type that) planner, there are a ton available for $14. I really like this jumbo scuba to cuba planner. I actually received a planner for Christmas this year. For the first time ever, I’m going to make an attempt at meal planning to be more organized with the meals I serve to my family. Last year’s attempt at cooking was pretty pathetic, so we will see how this goes.
Finally, I did find one winter item that I thought was cute enough to recommend. This Isabelle vest is marked down to $79 (originally $198). There are a bunch of colors available and the inside lining features one of the Lilly prints.
