More Sale Leggings!

I’ll fully admit, I’m really embarrassed about how much time I spend wearing leggings these days. I recently ditched my office job for mom-life full-time, but it honestly feels like work to even put on a pair of jeans. Work I’m not interested in dealing with. I spent the weekend with a few of my besties a couple weeks back and was happy to hear I’m not alone in this predicament. Most of us wore jeans to dinner and after we polished off our entrees, we couldn’t stop talking how we wanted to unbutton our pants, wondering why we chose to “dress up” in jeans.  Let’s just say, it might be January before I make this mistake again.

I realize you can buy leggings pretty much anywhere, but a GOOD pair of leggings is worth spending a couple extra dollars. Let’s be honest, we all know we will use them. Just in time for elastic pant season (aka, the holidays), there are tons of leggings on sale right now. Let’s get to it.

I purchased a pair of the Zella “live in” leggings during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale this past summer based on the 2,000+ five star reviews. And you know what, the reviewers were right. They are great. They stay in place, don’t sag, wash well, and most importantly, they are comfortable. If you are in between sizes, I recommend sizing up since they do fit pretty snug. Everyone who has read this blog for more than a hot second knows I have a big-time lululemon obsession, and the Zella live-ins hold their own to my beloved Wunder Unders. And they are a lot cheaper. The full-length version Zella “live in” leggings are marked down to $34.80 (originally $58) and the Zella “live in” crops are $32.16 (originally $48). The sizes and colors on sale are somewhat picked over, but even at full-price, they are a great deal.

I found out about the Hue Ultra-wide waist band leggings last year through another blog I read. Shaeffer over at Pinterest Told Me To was spot on naming these one of her must-have items because they are amazing. They are more of a cotton legging vs. a pair that you would wear to the gym, which to me, makes them more of an everyday legging. The thicker waistband at the top also keeps your post-Thanksgiving dinner belly right where it started first thing in the morning. The best part about these is the price. They are currently marked down to $27 (originally $36) and also come in plus size. You can’t go wrong with picking up a pair of these bad boys.

I have a few friends who rave about Lorna Jane’s tights. Lorna Jane is Australia’s version of lululemon and prices tend to be even more expensive. For that reason, I don’t yet own a pair of these, but I hear they are worth the money. I got an email today from Lorna (not personally written, maybe one day…) saying their best selling “Amy” leggings are on sale in store and online through 11/22 for $50 (HALF OFF!!!). Can you beat $50? Click here for the crop length and here for the full length.

Clearly, I couldn’t write a post about leggings and not include a pair from lulu. These blue patterned Wunder Unders are on sale for $69 (originally $98). There are also a couple other pairs of lulu leggings on sale that I already blogged about a couple weeks back. Love, love, love these.

I know what I’ll be wearing next week on Turkey Day. And probably every day after. What about you?
