I’ll be the first to admit that my fashion taste tends to fall to the preppy side. The college my husband and I attended was nicknamed “J Crew U” and my little family probably wears more pastel colors than the Easter Bunny. The tunic style typically means it isn’t uber form-fitting so it might actually be comfortable. With the promo code it comes down to $71.99. This dress is now in commute to my closet in Arizona (insert happy dance here).
This dress would be absolutely perfect with heels for a summer wedding or shower. The pattern is really cute and the red, white and blue colors would also look great at any kind of patriotic party. With the discount, it comes down to $98.99.
This embroidered skirt only has a few sizes left, but it would be the perfect summer work skirt. I could see it with a white t-shirt or chambray button-down. If they have your size, I give you permission to go for it and purchase,especially for $44.99.

I know not all men wear pastel colors on a regular basis. Some might never even be caught dead in a shirt like this. However, my husband lived in Virginia for three years and that experience only strengthened his love of preppy colors and prints. #realmenwearpink
This slim fit oxford shirt features panels of different spring colors for $53.99. And the best part? There is a matching little boy version for $22.19. And both versions are now on their way to live with us in Arizona. If you ask me, these are the best purchase of the day.
For Mother’s Day last weekend, my husband surprised me by wearing matching shirts with my son, Carter, to brunch. Since we tend to buy Carter mini versions of man clothing, they have a lot of matching or very similar outfits. However, they always refuse to wear the same thing on the same day despite my objections. I know they only did it to make me happy, and you know what, it did.
These pink, green and blue seersucker shorts are every southern gentleman’s dream. It really doesn’t get much better, especially for $38.99. In case you really even needed to ask, yes, my husband now owns these.
Who doesn’t love a guy in a baseball hat? My husband always used to wear a bright green hat like this back in the day when we were dating and I always thought it was so cute. This green hat with yellow whale comes down to $11.99 with the discount. Early Father’s Day gift, maybe?
My daughter is too little to fit into Vineyard Vines kids clothes since they don’t offer sizes below 2T. However, I thought long and hard about buying this dress for her and hanging onto it for another year. Stripes and embroidery on the same little girl’s dress? At $32.99, I think my heart just skipped a beat.
Finally, a little seersucker dress. I don’t think it gets much better than that. They only have sizes 12 and 14 left. And while I was tempted by this one, I realized hanging onto it for another 10 years was probably a little ridiculous.
