Gift Guide: Teacher Gifts

My favorite gift ideas for all the hardworking teachers

I think we can all agree our teachers have had a tough year. They’ve been forced to work more this year under less than ideal circumstances to still make learning fun for our kids. If anyone deserves a great gift this year, it is them. Here are my favorite teacher gifts for 2020.

Skillet brownie set | Kendra Scott nail polish | Ritual gift set | Flair pens | Customized stationary | Single cup coffee maker | Initial necklace (use code SHOPAHOLIC for 50% off) | Lysol wipes | Target gift card | Amazon gift card | Blue light glasses | Snack gift set | Barefoot dreams cozy socks | Origins Make a Difference Hand Lotion | Teacher notebook

While I’ve never been a teacher (I completely lack that gene), I have asked a number of teacher friends what their favorite teacher gifts have been over the years. The #1 answer is always gift cards. Target and Amazon are two big ones, but feel free to be more specific. If you know they have a favorite coffee shop, store or restaurant, don’t be afraid to go that route.

I also heard over and over that classroom items and supplies are always a big hit. This year, I don’t think its possible for our teachers to have enough Lysol wipes on hand. Also, things like fun pens, little notebooks or customized stationary will definitely be appreciated.

Finally, a few other things that my teacher friends mentioned were snacks (can you ever have enough snacks), a nice hand lotion (especially this year with all the cleaning and chemicals), or some fun and cozy socks.

To all the teachers out there, I appreciate you more than you know. Distance learning challenged me in ways I never thought possible and I thank you for everything you do for our kiddos.
