Swimsuits and Beach Wear for Spring Break + A Giveaway

Who is going somewhere for Spring Break? It is that time of year where everyone is over the cold and ready for the beach. If you are anything like me, that means you are on the hunt for swimsuits, cover-ups and dresses. Well, today is your lucky day because I’m sharing my new favorite swimsuit and other beach wear for Spring Break.

Today I’m partnering up with Amita Naithani to talk about a few outfits I recently wore on a trip to Rocky Point, Mexico. Some of you may have seen a little sneak peek of this trip on my Instagram page. I took approximately 12,000 photos on the trip (not really that many, but it feels like it) so it is going to take me a few days to get the whole trip recap up on the blog. However, I couldn’t resist sharing a few of Amita’s designs as a little sneak peek. I worked with this amazing beach wear brand last year (read the post here) when we traveled to Spain and Morocco, so I’m ecstatic to be working with them again this year. And better yet, Amita now designs swimwear and has more affordable prices.

Let’s get the uncomfortable photos out of the way first. Swimsuits. I’ll admit, I swore up and down I’d never share a swimsuit photo quite like this one on the internet. However, thank goodness for the one piece trend and a strategically placed hot tub. I’m reaching the point in life where more coverage is a good thing so I’m totally obsessed with the one pieces. This patchwork one piece is by far my favorite one in my swimsuit drawer. The cut in the front and back fits me perfectly, it has an appropriate coverage and support and is flat out cute. Bonus, it is under $50!

I know. This light blue lace maxi dress is absolutely stunning. Dresses like this one make me want to twirl around and flip my skirt. The lace and embroidery details are perfection and I love the cold shoulder. This one would also be really easy to dress up or down. I’m 5’3″ and I definitely needed wedges so this beauty wasn’t dragging on the floor, but it would also look gorgeous with flats if you are a little taller than me. Totally perfect for a beach trip or even dressed up for a wedding. I seriously can’t say enough good things.

 

And finally, what would Spring Break be without a fun little party dress. This one shoulder tassel beach dress would also totally work as a cover-up over a swimsuit. In my opinion, this tassel dress is made to be worn while shimmying with a margarita in hand. I also love it under $50 and is as cute as can be.
