Summer Fashion

I love summer. Even though it is a bazillion degrees here in AZ, summer always brings a smile to my face. The lazy days in the pool, the lack of a formal schedule and the fashion. Oh yes, summer fashion. I think being able to wear warm-weather clothing pretty much year-round was a big part of my decision to move to Arizona in the first place. It just makes me happy.

I’m rounding up three outfits in today’s post, starting with this awesome floral dress. I can’t say enough good things about this one. It has the prettiest floral pattern, is an off-the-shoulder style and features bell sleeves. It fit true-to-size, is so comfortable and doen’t wrinkle. Basically, this is my ideal dress. I paired it with my fringe suede sandals for summer (also from Jane), but I can totally see it with booties come fall. Let’s be honest, I could really use some fall weather about now.

Next up is this blue shift dress with embroidery and tassels. The second I saw a photo of this one, I knew it had to live in my closet. The color is perfection and look at those little tassels!!!

Here is a better photo of my fringe shoes. I’ve seen a bunch of similar styles at other stores for easily triple price. I debated getting them in a pretty blush color, but ultimately decided the tan was more practical. Good choice on my part since they matched perfectly with all three outfits in this post.

Finally, let’s talk about this pineapple tank. I might be a tad pineapple obsessed this year because they are just too dang cute. I’ve said it before, I love the occasional quirky item and this tank totally fits the bill (especially when it matched my water bottle). Perfect comfy tank for a hot summer day.
