In case you haven’t noticed by now, I love a good fashion bargain. Yes, I’m a fan of big-name designers from well-known stores. However, the occasional cute and trendy item for cheap has my name written all over it (in giant bold capital letters). The thing with trendy items is they are hot and then they are not quickly, so these items are exactly where we should all save our $$$$.
I’ve worked with Romwe before and I was thrilled when they asked if I would like to partner up again for another post. Not only do I always find cute stuff on their website, I can tell from my blog stats that you guys dig their styles as well.
This black and white striped dress with ruffled bell sleeves is my new favorite comfy dress in my closet. Yes, you could totally dress this one up with wedges or heels, but I’m absolutely loving how it looks with my simple black sandals or even my white Adidas Stan Smiths. I’m OB-sessed with the sleeves, but I’m guessing in a few years, we will all look back at sleeves like these and wonder what we were thinking. For the time being, give me all the ruffles.
A couple things to note about this dress. It is a one-size-fits-all and I’d say it fits like a size small. Also, right around the collarbone, this dress has two small metal rivet holes. I saw them in the pictures on the Romwe website and didn’t really understand them, but they were small enough I decided to give the dress a go anyway. Well, I still don’t really get why there are there (you could loop a ribbon through and tie a bow???), but they don’t bother me and you really can’t see them at all with a long pendant necklace. Just a minor detail I forgot to photograph. But here’s the good news. This dress only costs $14.99 and I’m going to be wearing this one over and over and over this summer.
How cute is this pinstripe and pom pom trip dress? I’ve obviously been all about pom poms this year so when Romwe added them on a blue and white striped off the shoulder dress, I knew it had to be mine. It fits true-to-size (I ordered a small) and the off the shoulder style actually stayed in place. The material is a tad thin, but after giving it a pass with the iron, it looked perfect for the rest of the evening. I forgot to mention it only costs $11.99. Yes, seriously.
Anyone else digging the one-piece swimsuit trend right now?? Finally, a swimsuit trend made for moms. I’ve purchased a couple one pieces so far this year, and by far, this black and white halter is my favorite. The edges are actually printed fabric, but they have the same look as some of the crochet knit edges on the expensive designer suits. It fits true-to-size and the top has light padding in it for added support. It is double-lined so even though it is white, it isn’t see-through (I promise!). This one only costs $12.99.
You can actually buy all three items for only $40. Total bargains, right?!
Which look is your favorite?
