What I Wore Wednesday

It has been way too long since I’ve done a What I Wore Wednesday blog post, recapping a few of my recent looks. If you follow me on Instagram (if you don’t, you should), you may have already seen a couple of these styles, but I promise you, it is worth sticking around. You know, in case you aren’t sick of me yet and really like fashion. Without further ado, I’m linking up with The Pleated Poppy for What I Wore Wednesday.

I know, that bag. I’m obsessed with it too. My straw pom pom bag (C/O Lila’s Beauty Bag) works as a beach bag or even an uber-cute summer purse. It is only $54 and you’ll be seeing a ton of it this summer.

I got this embroidered off-the-shoulder top from Nordstrom a few months back, fully knowing it would be perfect for summer. No surprise, I was right. I wore it the other day ago with jeans, but it will look great with shorts as well. It sold out, but this one and this one are almost identical. My jeans are from Hawk and Holly (C/O) and my earrings are Kendra Scott (similar here).

Pool season is officially here in AZ since our temps are regularly hitting 90. My son has his last week of preschool this week, so we will pretty much be living in our pool starting next week. Good thing I have a few good pool essentials on hand. My cover-up is by Amita Naithani (similar here), hat is from Target (FYI, it is from the girl’s department for my fellow small-headed friends), sunglasses are from LOFT and are on sale for $12, and my turkish towel is by Bersuse (C/O Bersuse). If I had to pick a go-to summer style, it is this outfit right here. I got this Lilly Pulitzer dress last year, but this one and this one remind me a lot of the same comfy, loose style. My shoes are by Sugar and feature pom poms, so it is no surprise that I’m a huge fan of them. My pink earrings are by Fringe with Benefits and I’ve been wearing them on repeat since I got them. Be prepared to see them over and over this upcoming summer. My blue Tory Burch bag has become my daily go-to purse since I’ve successfully ditched the diaper bag (yay for potty training!!). It isn’t available in my awesome blue color anymore, but it does come in black and a pretty blush color. Perfect size if anyone is looking for a new Tory.

On Mother’s Day, I was lucky enough to be taken to brunch by my hubby and two little cuties. We went to a Mexican restaurant and I fit right in wearing this outfit. This is seriously my favorite $14 dress I’ve ever owned. If you are into comfy black dresses with pom poms, don’t even hesitate to order this one. I ordered an XS and it fits true to size. Again, I’m wearing my Fringe with Benefits earrings (I’m obsessed in case you can’t tell) and they are only $24. My sandals are by Tory Burch and my purse is Kate Spade.

Finally, when warm weather rolls around, I pull out the white dresses. Depending on your height, this crochet lace dress (C/O) from My Hippie Art can be worn as a cover-up, or a dress with a slip underneath. It actually looks a lot shorter in this pic than it is, but if you are over 5’3″, it will definitely have to go into the cover-up category.
