I’m back from vacation!!! After taking a couple weeks off the good old blog to hang out in Spain and Morocco with my family, I’m doing my best to shake the jet lag and get back into the swing of things. I’ll be doing a vacation recap sometime next week, but this post will give you a little sneak peek into my trip. Here’s a little hint. I did my best to wear two of my favorite spring trends on repeat: embroidery and tassels.
Let’s start with this white 3/4 sleeve length dress (C/O SheIn) with awesome pom pom and tassel details. I wore this outfit when we went to stroll around the shops on the island of Gran Canaria. Perfect for Spain, right?! I love that it features both pom poms and tassels. Be still my heart. Here is a close-up:
This dress is seriously perfect for spring. The material is a tad thicker, almost like a sweatshirt material and the 3/4 length sleeves are ideal for those cooler, yet sunny days. It only costs $27 and runs true to size (I’m wearing a small for reference). And please don’t judge the awkward blue bracelet that my all-inclusive resort required us to wear at all times. I would have worn whatever they wanted me to wear for unlimited sangria.
Those of you who follow me on Instagram already got a sneak peek of this embroidered maxi dress (also C/O SheIn). I wore this dress as a cover-up while on the beach in Tenerife, Spain; however, the dress comes shipped with a removable slip that can be worn underneath to make it a dress. I love a versatile piece and can’t say enough good things about this dress.
I usually fall somewhere between an X-Small and a Small at SheIn and decided to go with the XS here due to the length and I found it fit perfectly. It hit my ankles (I’m 5’3″), but wasn’t too long so I’d say it is the perfect maxi length. It only costs $30, which is a total steal for a dress with gorgeous embroidery all the way down the front. I know I’ll be wearing this one over and over this spring and summer.
Which trend do you like more for spring? Tassels or embroidery?
