My Favorite Wedges for Spring and Summer

Chloe Marc Fisher Wedge Knockoff Dupe

Gotta love a good wedge. They give short people like me some much-needed height without the discomfort of “real” heels. I’ve been wearing wedges every single year for the past decade or two and the style keeps coming back year after year.  They go with jeans, dresses, shorts and everything in between. If you are in the market for a new pair of wedges for spring and summer, this post is for you.

Marc Fisher Knock off Wedge

My wedge of choice for 2017 is the Jaylen wedge by Steve Madden. I received this pair of shoes last week and already know I’ll be wearing them constantly for the next 6+ months. I ordered them in the taupe color shown above, but they also come in black and cognac. Here’s the funny thing about this style of shoe. They are actually a knock-off of a knock-off. Chloe makes a similar style shoe for $600+, then Marc Fisher created a shoe that looks just like these last year. The Marc Fisher’s are great (see the shoe below), but even that dupe goes for $170. Good old Steve decided to knockoff the knockoff and makes this version for only $60. Nice job, Steve-o. I like where your head is at.

Marc Fisher Sandal

There are a couple different styles of Marc Fisher wedges available at Nordstrom, but I really like this Annie wedge. I love how the front of the wedge almost looks like a bootie, making it a good transitional shoe for spring. These also come in 5 different colors and are supposed to be super comfy. If only they weren’t $170?!

Cognac leather wedge

I bought a very similar pair of shoes to these Michael Kors Angeline wedges on bargain basement clearance right before Thanksgiving. It was the time of year when everyone was going crazy thinking about boots and my mind was on the future. I’m talking like $17 for brand new MK shoes. We all know I like a deal, so these beauties have been waiting patiently in my closet, just waiting to be worn. I love the rich color of leather and the sling back style. Unfortunately, this pair isn’t $17, but they are still really cute.

Black Bootie Wedge

How cute are these perforated peep toe wedge booties?! They are only $70 and are seriously the most perfect spring bootie/wedge/sandal I’ve seen so far this season. Really great, affordable choice.

Brown Slide Wedge

If you are looking for a slide wedge option, these Crown Vintage Marina wedges are an amazing choice at only $40. They come in brown, black and a navy denim option, and you don’t even have to deal with buckling your shoes.

Linen Wedge Sandal

I love the light linen color on these MK Berkeley wedges. Especially as summer rolls around, a lighter color shoe will match with all those fun, bright colors. These are under $100.

Are you a fan of wedges? Any others out there that you would recommend?
