I know what some of you are thinking – hot pink? Really? In Winter? Do you realize it is January? Just trust me on this one. Bright pink is actually the perfect color right now for so many reasons. It helps brighten the winter blues, it is the perfect color for Valentine’s Day, and it easily transitions to spring. I don’t know about you, but I’m also reaching the point where I’m getting sick of my winter clothes and am ready for something different. Don’t get me wrong, I love all the dark tones, but a bright color really can take an outfit to a new level. This really makes me wonder why I haven’t been wearing bright pink all winter long!
I wore this exact outfit out to dinner with my husband this past weekend. Not only did multiple people compliment me on the pink, I found the color goes perfectly with jeans and black boots. When spring rolls around, I’ll be mixing in the white jeans or a dress to keep the bright color going. Have I convinced you yet?
This sweater is from J. Crew Factory from a couple years ago, so unfortunately, it is no longer available. I received this Kate Spade bag for Christmas this year, which was purchased during one of the good old Kate Spade private sales. I bet if you keep your eyes open during the next private sale, there will be a good chance this bag will be back up for grabs. In the meantime, I’ve scoured the internet to find a few of my favorite hot pink items.

Although I couldn’t locate my exact Kate Spade bag, I did stumble across this Candace bag that is crazy similar. This one even even features a cross-body strap, which is always a great feature in my book.
I’m a big fan of this bright pink cold shoulder sweater, which is currently on sale for $59. I love the knit and the cold shoulder trend has been huge all winter long. This one has me tempted.
This pretty pink lace peplum top is adorable! I can totally picture this one with a cozy cardigan over the top, a blazer for work or even with white jeans in spring. It is also only $30 right now with code GETSHOPPING.
If a pink sweater isn’t quite your jam, maybe a pink puffy vest is more up your alley. This one would be easy to mix with a simple long sleeve tee, a gingham shirt or even chambray. I also love that this one is on sale for only $39!
Even Tory Burch is getting in on the hot pink trend right now. Let’s just say if this Tory Burch clutch showed up at my house on Valentine’s Day, I wouldn’t be disappointed. I love the Tory logo and the color is gorgeous. This would be the perfect pop of color for any outfit.
How cute would these pink Sam Edelman pumps be for Valentine’s Day?! I can see them with a simple black dress or even jeans and a classic top. Love.
I’ve been a sucker for fringe for a while now, so it should be no surprise that this fringe scarf showed up on this list. The perfect pop of color for any winter outfit and it is under $40.
What do you think? Yay or nay on hot pink for winter?
Beautiful Yes hot pink is an all year round color, well done.
Thanks! Glad I’m not the only one who is a fan of pink year round ?
