I’ve been loving the grey on grey trend lately. I’m a huge fan of bright colors, but I absolutely love neutrals from time to time. Mixing different colors of grey gives a classy monochromatic look without looking drab. This trend was super popular last winter so it is no surprise it is hot again this year. Grab a few of your favorite grey accessories and throw them together. I promise, you’ll look stylish.
I absolutely love how this outfit came together. I started with the most comfy charcoal chiffon top (C/O Bella Vita Boutique) and looked around my closet to find other grey pieces. This chunky knit scarf called my name from the back of my closet, I grabbed some grey riding boots and added a pair of slate Kendra Scott earrings to bring my grey on grey look all together. Drab? No way, José.
My top was compliments of Bella Vita Boutique. I was so excited when the founder, Katie, reached out to me to spread the word about her online shop. She’s a college student in Milwaukee, WI who started her own online boutique to offer quality, affordable clothing to women of all ages. Talk about ambition!! Let’s just say that when I was in college, I was more worried about my costume for the next theme party. Well, Katie has successfully launched her store and offers some of the cutest tops and dresses with most of them under $20. I’m so impressed by what she is doing because, really, who doesn’t want quality clothing for a reasonable price!?!
My chiffon top is so comfy and could easily be dressed up and worn to work with black pants or a skirt, or worn with jeans. Since I’m pretty short (only 5’3″ on a good day), the length is perfect in the back to be worn with leggings. The fit is forgiving, which is great for anyone who has been indulging in way too many holiday cookies. I mean really, why stop at one?!
Bella Vita Boutique graciously provided a promo code for 10% off their already affordable prices for my readers. Through 12/30/2016, use code JENNY10 to receive your discount.
Are you a fan of the grey on grey trend? Drab or fab?
