Trend Alert: Bell Sleeves

Has anyone else fallen in love with the bell sleeve trend going on right now? If you’ve been out shopping in recent months, chances are you’ve noticed bell sleeves commonly associated with the 70’s are back in a big way (get it, big…). Bad jokes aside, the reason I’ve been crushing on big sleeves is because they are drapey and flattering in the best way possible. Plus who really likes tight sleeves? No one.

My Aztec dress which I snagged for a steal at Target a few weeks back has the cutest bell sleeves. Sadly, it is nowhere to be found anywhere online, but I thought it was a good example of bell sleeves done right. I’m in love with this denim peplum bell sleeve top from Francesca’s. I love how they have it styled with black jeans, and you could possibly even get away with wearing it with leggings. I’d personally throw on a pair of booties and a long necklace to make it a perfect outfit. The price isn’t too bad at $38 and right now they have a BOGO 50% sale going on. I’m sure you could find something else cute on their website for half off!

How cute are the colors on this bell sleeve blouse from Banana? This one would be perfect to wear with black pants if you work in an office. Cute and trendy, but not over the top. It is a tad expensive for my liking right now at $78, but Banana always has sales going on. I’d wait until the weekend and chances are, it will be marked down. Please, don’t pay full price. A little patience will save you some $$$.

Bell sleeve dresses are really popular right now and Nordstrom has a few awesome options at good prices. I’m seriously considering ordering this flowy off the shoulder dress since it is currently marked down to only $28.80. I love the navy blue color and think it would look perfect with a pair of brown booties. Fall florals are also huge this year and this woven shift dress is perfection in my eyes. If I could live in shift dresses I probably would. Cute and comfortable.
