There is a HUGE sale going on right now at Gretchen Scott Designs. For once, I’m not talking about Kendra Scott, although I suppose it is possible they are related. Who knows. Kendra is the master of cute jewelry and Gretchen designs preppy clothing. Think Lilly Pulitzer-esque dresses, tunics and tops in all sorts of colors. Click here to view all items up to 75% off.
Now, I have to say it, Gretchen Scott really needs to work on her website. It is TERRIBLE. The picture quality is awful, the models are making odd expressions and the styling of the clothing isn’t great. I could probably do better with my trusty iPhone. I know she has a few retail stores in various locations and I’m guessing most of her sales come from those because the website is flat out bad. However, I’m personally willing to get over a bad website for cheap, cute clothing. Here are my picks from the sale:
I’m loving this Ikat tunic dress. The colors are cute and the embroidery at the top and bottom is adorable. The best part is the price – it is only $27.25 (originally $109).
Speaking of tunic dresses, I saw a woman at a wedding recently wearing one of these metallic tunic dresses and it was GORGEOUS in person. Totally different from anything I’ve ever seen before and something that could easily be dressed up or down. The block print tunic is $27.25 and the metallic starburst tunic is $22.25. The starburst pattern is also available in turquoise and orange.
Tunic shirts never work on me because I’m so short, but I do think this starburst tunic top is adorable. I could even see this one going into fall because of the darker pink and orange, and it comes in navy. Cute for only $22.25 (originally $89).
Although this off-the-shoulder bubble top isn’t colorful and bright, it is perfect. Who doesn’t need another cute black top, and the off-the-shoulder trend is going strong for fall. This one is also $22.25 (originally $89).
Finally, Gretchen Scott also makes tunics for little girls (orange here and navy here). In fact, she often designs mommy and me sets where you and your mini can dress the same. I’m not one to match my daughter, but I’m totally obsessed with these tiny tunics. I can’t believe these are only $8.13 (originally $32.50)!
Have you ever heard of Gretchen Scott before? What do you think?
