I specifically remember the first time I saw a pair of open toe booties. It was a year or two ago and I was mindlessly browsing the shoe collection on Nordstrom.com (please tell me I’m not the only one who does this out of boredom). I was udderly confused why the boots were missing the toes, but I’ll admit, I’ve really come around to them. Not ideal in rain or snow, but they are one of my favorite trends so far for fall. If fact, in a warm climate like Phoenix where I live, they make perfect sense. The open toe is built-in air conditioning!
I love this trend because you can seriously wear them with everything: skinny jeans, dresses or shorts. I’d show you a few pictures, but I have yet to procure a pair. Keyword in that sentence is “yet”. Pinterest has a bunch of great ideas if you are wondering how the heck to wear open toe boots.
I think if I had to pick a favorite pair, these Vince Camuto Perforated Open Toe Bootie would probably be it. The detail around the top and side is unlike anything I currently own, the V front is super trendy right now, and I love the stacked heel. The bad part is the price – they are $149.95.
If you are considering a black pair, this Lucky pair gets my vote. I personally am not a big fan of black suede and it feels like most booties on the market right now are suede. I think the leather on them looks really sleek and I love the slingback. Cute pair for $108.95.
If you are looking for a pair under $50, go for this Not Rated pair off 6pm.com. The detail on the top reminds me of the Vince Camuto pair and I actually like the fringe. They also come in three colors: tan, black and cream. These are only $39.99!!
How cute is the braid/fringe detail on this XOXO pair? I saw a similar pair on the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale which sold out in a flash. Use code FUN20 to bring these down to $39.99 plus free shipping!
I saw this Jessica Simpson pair on a couple different websites, but Macy’s currently has the cheapest price ($99.99). The V front is super trendy right now and the this color will match with almost everything. Cute.
Finally, even Toms is in on the open toe bootie trend. I feel like every fashion blogger out there owns a pair of the Toms lace-up wedge booties (myself included), so maybe this perforated pair is the next big thing. These go for $98.
