Before I was pregnant with my daughter, I honestly didn’t know how I felt about tutus. Part of me thought they were cute, and the other part of me felt like they were totally over the top. Well, after Kenzie was born, the answer was as clear as day. Totally flipping adorable. Over the top? Maybe, but I don’t care at all because they are so darn cute.
I was so excited when I saw this Groopdealz sale today for tutus (or pettiskirts, I honestly don’t know the difference) for $3.99. While I think they are adorable, they are always totally overpriced at fancy boutiques. $3.99 is about what a poofy skirt should cost.
Now, if you haven’t purchased from Groopdealz before, here’s what you need to know. Each item is made and shipped by independent sellers (these tutus are made by Mommy’s Little Sunshine). I tend to think of it as Etsy-like products but on sale. They also have kind of odd shipping pricing. You have to pay for shipping for every single item, but it is cheaper the more you buy. So for the tutus, shipping is $2.99 for the first item and $0.99 for each item after. So if you buy two tutus, it will cost you $11.96. Not bad at all. I’m planning to order this emerald green tutu for Kenzie for St. Patrick’s Day. So flipping adorable, right?
I apologize if I just introduced you to Groopdealz for the first time because it is hard to resist the adorable stuff for cheap. It is one of the few websites where I honestly have to avoid browsing if I’m trying to save money.
