Kate Spade must be rolling in the dough from these surprise sales because it seems like they have been having them more frequently. There is something about a timed sale where the items “go away” after a few days that makes things interesting. I don’t make a purchase every time, but I do look and see what cute stuff is available for surprisingly cheap prices.
Another surprise sale is going on now through 2/11. A couple things to be aware of. As usual, Kate is collecting your email and zip code in order to be granted access to the sale. Expect to start receiving Kate Spade promotions from this day forward. Also, shipping cost $5 for anywhere in the US and $10 in Canada. I HATE paying for shipping, but I suppose the sale makes it worthwhile. Here are a few cute thing that caught my eye:
I first talked about this Charlotte Street Alek bag back in November when Kate had her pre-Black Friday sale. I’ve been eyeing this bag in black for ages and actually received it as a Christmas gift (thanks, Mom!!). I knew I’d like it from the pictures, but I love it even more in person. It is a tad bit larger than it looks in the pictures. The picture of the turquoise bag is maybe a little more realistic, but I can easily fit my wallet, keys, phone, lipstick and sunglasses in it. If you ask me, it is the perfect cross-body bag. So much so that my mom texted me this morning to say she’s buying one for herself. That says something. It is available in the two colors above, as well as a light pink. Great buy for $79 (originally $258).
Who knew Kate Spade is making her way into the luggage world? Maybe she’s been making suitcases for a while, but I was certainly not aware. How cute are these leather rolling spinner suitcases? They look like the perfect size for a weekend or carrying on an airplane. I feel like checking a Kate Spade suitcase is asking for it to get stolen, but it should be fine as long as it never leaves your side at the airport. These are available for $329 (originally $698).
I absolutely love this black and white bow tie pattern with the hot pink accents. Super girly and adorable. The current line features a bunch of different bags and wallets in this pattern, but I personally love the serena baby bag (available for $99) and the shopper bag (available for $59). A pattern like this one would get a ton of compliments.
