I’m a little short on time today, but I couldn’t help but squeeze in a quick post about the additional 50% off clearance sale J. Crew Factory has going on right now. Using code EXTRA50, all clearance items are half-off the already reduced price. I’m not kidding, this sale is worth checking out.
I know what some of you are thinking. Some factory stores have pretty terrible quality or use crappy materials to help make up for the bargain basement prices. I can think of a specific three letter factory store that begins with G and ends with P that totally falls in that category. I’ll let you figure that one out. #shoppingbrainbuster
But I’ve been a huge fan of J. Crew Factory for years. I haven’t noticed a difference in quality from the full-price store and in fact, this past winter I actually liked the factory patterns more. Plus they are a tad cheaper. Win, win. J. Crew is even trying to re-brand their factory stores to become “J. Crew Mercantile” to get away from that bad factory persona. We will see if that ever happens.
But back to the important stuff. The sale. My #1 pick from the sale is this shirt:
The homespun popover shirt comes down to $20 with the promo code. Does the pattern on the right look a tad familiar? That’s because I first blogged about it in my Mad for Plaid post back in September. Months later J. Crew is finally marking it down. I don’t personally own this one (yet), but my best friend purchased it and said it runs big. Since the clearance items are final sale, make sure to keep that in mind.
I don’t have time to include my other favorite items, but there are so many great things up for grabs. Coats, booties, sweaters, scarves, jewelry, mens, kids, etc… Even lots of summer super sales for those of you who are over winter clothes and ready for spring.
