I love how many fun events are happening around town this time of year. No wonder the hotels are jam packed and the traffic is crazy, crazy! I just co-hosted a shoe event at Scottsdale Fashion Square last weekend (eeeek!!!) and am so excited talk about the next big fashion event coming to town – the Style of Scottsdale Spring Event. I was at the Dillard’s at Fashion Square this past weekend for the Vionic Shoes Spring Style event. First of all, I have to say it was a total dream to be able to host an event like that as a blogger. An audience of people listened to an editor from AZ Foothills Magazine and me talk on a microphone (sounds pretty official, right?!) about our favorite spring fashion trends, the brand and our favorite shoe selections. On top of that, people came out there specifically to meet little old me. I couldn’t believe it! I’m just a mom who shops way too much, so this was a humbling moment for sure. I know I’ve said it before, but thank you all so much for your support on this wild blogging ride. I had zero expectations going into this whole adventure, so your love and support means more than you’ll ever know.I’ll admit, it has been a hot minute since I’ve visited Fashion Square. I saw how many renovations they have been doing to improve the mall. It look absolutely amazing and is a major upgrade from before. They’ve been working on the luxury wing expansion and now have over 1.9 million (yes, million) square feet of space and more than 200 shops and restaurants. I think they know the way to my shopaholic heart. If you haven’t been to Scottsdale Fashion Square in a while, this upcoming Saturday is the perfect time to go check it out. The Style of Scottsdale Spring Event is happening which is part of Scottsdale Fashion Week. They will be showcasing retailers, designers, influencers, and the fashion students of the ASU Herberger Institute for Design & The Arts. There will be fashion shows, beauty and style tips, a DJ, lip print reader (never heard of this before but sounds interesting), and an after party at Guess. The Guess lead designer from LA will be at the party, which will run from 3-7 pm. I think event is so fun and unique because it celebrates larger retailers and designers, as well as those local students still working to establish their up and coming brand. Yes, we all love checking out the luxury stores at Fashion Square, but it is also fun to see what new things are in store from creatives here in town. Here are the specifics. Head over to the Palm Court inside Scottsdale Fashion Square (7014 E Camelback Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251) between 1-5 pm. You can also find all the event details by clicking HERE.
