If you’ve read my blog for a while now, there is a good chance you’ve read one of my prior Lilly Pulitzer posts. Lilly’s cheery prints always attract compliments and are an easy way to brighten (literally) any day. Her fun designs only go on sale twice a year so today (and the next two days) is your lucky day. Welcome to the chaos that is the 2018 Lilly Pulitzer Sale.

Now here’s the scoop on the sale. If you see something you like that is available in your size, head to the checkout and pay for it ASAP!! The selection sells out insanely fast so there isn’t much time for leisurely browsing. However, the items are final sale so make sure you really love what you have in your cart. Lilly Pulitzer’s sizes do run very true to size and if you aren’t totally sure on sizing, read the reviews. Most items tend to have very descriptive reviews, which is a HUGE help.
If you are shopping the morning of the first day of the sale, there is a good chance you’ll end up in a virtual line. This is basically a way to manage website traffic so it doesn’t crash during the sale. The line can be an hour or two long, so try to keep your computer or phone close by. There is nothing worse than being sent to the back of a long line. You can shop on multiple devices as well so if you know you will have to leave your house, try getting in the line on your phone so you don’t miss your spot.
In prior years, I’ve never had any issues with the website functioning properly once I got past the virtual line. Last year I did receive an email a couple days after the sale saying they were unable to fulfill my order for one item I purchased. It was a bummer, but I probably already spent too much money. Maybe a blessing in disguise. This dress came from the January sale earlier this year and has been hiding in my closet ever since. I’m actually a little sad I didn’t get a chance to wear it more this summer.
Alright let’s get to it. Lilly does add new items and restock sizes periodically throughout the sale so make sure to check back. I also always sort by size and price to help expedite my search.
