In case you’ve been living under a rock (or a carrot), Easter is this Sunday. For most of us, this means some combination of church, brunch and family. This also means we all have an excuse to buy a new Easter dress. You don’t have to ask me twice to shop when I have a good excuse. Only problem is we are running out of time to figure out what to wear.

I absolutely love this time of year. The kids are happy because they receive candy inside plastic eggs every couple days. I’m happy because the kids are happy. The weather is lovely, the colors are fun and bright, and we all get to enjoy a long weekend. To be honest, we don’t have much planned for Easter this year. Some years we have family come in town, but this year we will be celebrating with our little family of four. We will probably do a little egg hunt at home, go to church and brunch, then hopefully spend the remainder of the day being lazy. That sounds like my kind of day.
Because of our lack of plans, I haven’t decided what I’m planning to wear for Easter yet this year. This adorable embroidered dress would be a cute option, especially since it would be easy to wear under a jacket or a sweater. However, I just wore it this past weekend to the Innings Festival (hence the dorky wristband in these photos), which is a new music festival in Tempe, AZ. I’m absolutely not above wearing the same thing twice in a week, but I also wore it while I was eating a very messy panini. We will see how motivated I get to finish laundry before Sunday.
Sandwich stains aside, I feel like we need to choose our Easter dress according to the weather. I have so many memories growing up in Ohio picking out a cute sundress or strappy sandals, only to have it rain and be 45 degrees out. I no longer have that problem in Arizona since this is the best time of year in the Valley, but I can absolutely relate to the struggle many of you are dealing with. If I could send you some sunshine, I would. Instead, I pulled together a few options that I think could easily be worn with boots or a cute sweater on top for that unpredictable weather. Click through my favorite picks below.

Great picks here and I love your embroidered pink dress. It’s great for Easter be it the weather approves. I’ll be going to church followed by an Easter egg hunt activity for my son. Not sure what I’ll be wearing, but I’m sure it will be a flowy dress to go with the occasion.
