Tassels and Stripes and Everything Nice

If I had to pick an all-time favorite color combination, it would probably be blue and white with a pop of pink. Call me basic if you may, but I just love it. Now, add in some stripes and tassels and call me extra basic and extra happy.

Happy happy Friday, friends! I’m SO ready for the weekend. I’m leaving later today to head up to Flagstaff, AZ for a couple nights. A few of my mom friends are taking our sons up north for a little mother/son ski weekend. I haven’t skied since before I was pregnant with Carter – he’s 5.5 years old now – so the skiing might be a little rough. However, any excuse to sneak away with just our little men and have some girl time (and wine) after the kiddos are in bed is just what I need in my life right now.

While I’ll be driving to the snow this weekend, I’ve been wearing a ton of cute Spring items lately. You guys actually heard me talk about this striped top in my Spring Trends blog post a week or so ago. If you are looking for a new striped top for Spring (as if we don’t have enough in our closets), I’m not joking, buy this one. It is made out of terry cloth and and almost feels like you are wearing a sweatshirt. But it doesn’t really look like a sweatshirt, just a normal striped shirt. It is available in four different color combos (I’m already eyeing the yellow and white) and fits true to size. It is seriously the perfect Spring staple, especially when paired with some tassel earrings.

Today’s post is short and sweet because I have a million things to get done, but I think you get the gist of it. Tassels and stripes will always be nice in my book.
