How to Wear Pink in Fall

How adorable is this layered bell sleeve sweater?

I’m a lover of all colors, but pink will always hold a special place near and dear to my heart. If you ask me, pink is perfect for every single season. However, I’m guessing a lot of people don’t typically think Fall and pink go together. Well, of course I’m here to tell you otherwise. Keep reading to find how how I style pink for Fall.

Love this blush pink bell sleeve sweater

I know. The sleeves. Aren’t they amazing? I wrote a blog post about layered bell sleeves a few weeks ago and this layered ruffle sleeve sweater (C/O Romwe) fits the bill. For me, they are a wonderful balance of fun and girly. This particular sweater is one-size-fits-all and I’d say it is equivalent to a small. It fits me perfectly, but might be a tad short for all you tall people out there. I paired it with a dark pair of distressed jeans and tan suede booties.

This polka dot pink off the shoulder top is perfect for Fall

Some of you may have seen this photo earlier this week on Instagram. I was able to sneak away last weekend to Flagstaff, AZ for 24 amazing kid-free hours with my mom friends. We soaked in some real fall weather, enjoyed some wine, and actually completed a full conversation. It was glorious.

I wore this pink and white polka dot off the sleeve top which I snagged back in July during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. It has been patiently waiting to be worn in my closet for cooler temps. You know, as if shirts have feelings. The good news is the same shirt is still up for grabs. I love how it turned out with my mauve booties which I bought for a steal on Groopdealz. Unfortunately, they aren’t currently available, but the items rotate daily so keep checking back if you are into affordable pink boots. Clearly, I am.

Love a cute and comfy knit shirt

Finally, I’m in love with this casual waffle cold shoulder top (also C/O Romwe). I’m wearing a small and it fits me true-to-size. I’d describe the color as more of a mauve in real life, as it did look a tad more pink on the store website. However, mauve is back in style so I’m right on trend. Even my hubby said he thought this mauve shirt was cute, so that says something.

On a side note, I have to admit the word “mauve” makes me laugh. When I think about mauve, memories of my mom’s formal living room from back in the 80’s come to mind. Heck, we even had a mauve-themed Christmas tree and a mauve phone, complete with the 20 foot curly cord. Don’t worry mom, you don’t have to defend your mauve decor. We all know I’m a fan of the trends and probably was rocking some mauve right there with you.

Jean shorts and booties are definitely my go-to Fall style for living in a warm climate. I bought my fringe booties at Nordstrom Rack like 6 months ago and randomly found the exact same pair on Walmart.com for only $30. I own the same pair in black and they are super comfy and fit true to size. Plus for that price, how could you not?!
