Mother’s Day is just over two weeks away on Sunday, May 14. That means it is time to start working on getting your mama a good gift! My son was born back in 2012 so I fully understand HOW MUCH WORK it is to be a mom. I can’t even tell you how many meals I’ve made, diapers I’ve changed, toys I’ve picked up and hours of sleep I’ve missed over the last 4.5 years because of my little ones. I wouldn’t change it for the world, but having kids sure isn’t easy. Let’s put it this way, I’m not going to be “that kid” who forgets to send my mom a gift on Mother’s Day.

I don’t think you can ever go wrong with classic, delicate jewelry for a mom. These genuine gold X earrings by AUrate New York (C/O) have quickly become a new favorite of mine. They are super lightweight and crazy comfortable. I don’t notice them one bit when they are in my ears, which says a lot coming from me. I usually take off my earrings the second I get home and last night, I forgot to take them off before going to bed. Amazing. I attempted to take a photo of myself wearing these beauties, but it ended up being a picture of my giant ear, so you can imagine what small X’s would look like on your mama’s lobes. These are perfect everyday earrings and would be ideal for any mom with toddlers who avoid dangle-y earrings for obvious reasons. I love that AUrate is based in NYC and uses only 14K or 18K gold at amazing prices. Click here to view the full collection.
Next up is VONJET Silhouettes. This amazing company turns profile pictures of your kids, pet, or even your entire family into a gorgeous piece of art. I partnered up with them last month to giveaway a gift card on Instagram, but I couldn’t resist including them in my gift guide as well. You are able to customize the size, paint colors, wood stain, etc… Here are the profile pictures of my kids and dog (my first born) I sent over to VONJET:
And they turned them into this:
Amazing, right?! They do have a 4 week turnaround time so they likely won’t arrive in time for Mother’s Day, but you can still wrap up a picture of a silhouette and let grandma know these are on the way. After all, what mom or grandmother wouldn’t want one of these on their wall?
I’m a big fan of herbal teas and have become a huge fan of the monthly tea boxes by Varieteas. The company changes the flavors in their boxes each month and I have yet to find one I didn’t like. Such a cute and affordable gift idea. You can either purchase one box or you have the option to do a 3-month or 6-month subscription. Use code “SENSIBLESHOPAHOLIC” to take 30% off!!
I’m pretty sure there isn’t a mom out there who wouldn’t like a pair of Tory Burch sandals for Mother’s Day (hint, hint to my hubby). I know, they aren’t cheap, but they will last for years and will be worn to death. I’m kind of obsessed with this updated Miller style with the fringe edges.
I’ve blogged about this Barefoot Dreams cardigan before, but it is seriously the most cozy and comfy thing in my closet. It has become my go-to travel sweater and I love the cool Arizona nights when I can sit by the fire wearing this beauty. It comes in a bunch of different colors and styles as well. If you have a mom who likes to be cozy, order this one.
Finally, I love all the bright colors on this one-size-fits-all Lilly Pulitzer scarf. Perfect for spring and it can easily be thrown over a dress, jacket or even a simple tee. And the tassels on the bottom?! Too cute.
Any other good Mother’s Day gift ideas I’m missing?
Love all of these gifts! I have been eyeing Tory’s for my sweet momma. I may just take the plunge. She deserves them of course! Happy early mother’s day to you!
