Kate Spade just announced another surprise sale, perfectly timed for the holidays. This sale runs through 11/28 and has some really cute things at amazing prices. A lot of cute basic colors and styles which can be worn with almost everything. I don’t think there is a woman out there who would be upset about an item from this sale sitting under the tree on Christmas Day.
I do have two complaints about this sale. My first gripe is the shipping charge. They are offering free shipping if you spend over $175, but otherwise shipping is $5. Really, Kate? You can’t throw in free shipping this holiday season as most other retailers have done? #scroogespade. At least it is only $5 no matter what you buy.
Second, all items are final sale. That one doesn’t bother me as much because everything is so cute, I can’t imagine wanting to return. Here are my top gift picks from this sale:
I know it is cliche, but I love a red handbag around the holidays. Does it get more festive than that? This bright red is adorable and the style of this Cove Street Pippa bag is perfect with the dual strap feature. And for $139 (originally $398) you don’t have to have millionaire status to add it to your list.
I’m pretty sure I’ve written about this Charlotte Street Alek bag in prior surprise sale posts, but it looks like the perfect small cross body bag. In fact, I’m adding this one to my wish list this year. For months, I’ve been saying I want a small black cross body bag for those moments when I’m sans kids and can enjoy only bringing my phone and wallet with me. I love the chain feature on the side and it also comes in baby blue, red and gold. This one is marked down to $79 (originally $258).
Isn’t this Kennedy Park Travel Sophie bag perfect? It is hard to tell from this picture, but it is big, more like a duffle bag than a purse. Perfect for overnight trips or or an afternoon at the park with the kids. Because when you go anywhere with kids, you probably have more stuff with you than most people take with them for a long weekend vacation. And the pink color? I’m in love. $129 (originally $348) doesn’t seem bad for a big bag like this one!
I told you, I love red around the holidays. There are a ton of different colors available if red isn’t your thing, but this red mikas pond lacey wallet (where the heck do they come up with these names?!?!) caught my eye. I love this style of wallet and I love the price: $79 (originally $178).
I’m disappointed there are no watches or shoes included in this surprise sale, but there are some really cute jewelry items. This Vegas Jewels Bangle is the perfect stacking bracelet for $29 (originally $78). It also comes in turquoise and pink. I really love buying jewelry for the ladies in my life and anytime you can find Kate Spade jewelry for under $30, I call that a shopping win. They don’t tarnish over time like similar styles at some of the mall stores!
This Vegas Jewels collar necklace is the perfect statement piece. It comes in clear crystals and the turquoise shown above. Adorable for $39 (originally $88).
