Everyone loves Amazon. In fact, Amazon has been a bit of a lifeline for our family during our quarantine at home. I receive a lot of requests from people asking about Amazon clothing so I figured it is a good time to share my Spring and Summer 2020 Amazon fashion finds. After all, most of us have extra time on the couch to shop right now.

Now a few things to note – I’m wearing a small in pretty much every item unless I specifically mention different sizing. I always read Amazon reviews when I’m placing orders so I took the advice from others when choosing my size. Also, a few of these items I purchased prior to our spring break trip to Puerto Vallarta. Yes, a few might be familiar, but they are worth sharing again.
Also, I’m aware that Amazon has suspended the quick 2 day Prime delivery for a lot of non-essential items. I’ve definitely noticed the shipping times for most clothing and accessories is much, much slower than pre-COVID. However, I’ve placed a number of orders that say the item may not arrive until June and then they show up a week later. It’s a gamble, but most of these are worth the wait.
Dresses
I’m starting out with this tie dye maxi dress because this is one of the dresses I voluntarily wore during quarantine. It is that comfy. I’m 5’3″ and the length was perfect when I was wearing flats, and it looks cute tied in a knot. I love this one and it comes in other prints and colors.
You may have noticed tie dye is quite the trend right now. I can’t get enough and this $18 tank dress is flat out adorable. Super easy to wear and perfectly on trend. It was the perfect length on me, but consider sizing up if you are taller.
I adore a good maxi dress for summer and this red polka dot halter dress doesn’t disappoint. It has a removable sash to tie around the waist and is a nice midi/ maxi length. Also available in other colors and under $30.
I realize it’s a tad hard to see this short sleeve tie dye t-shirt dress in this photo, but what can you do. This one is a smidge longer than I prefer (it’s knee length), but easy to fix with a cute little knot. This one also has pockets!
Tees, Tanks and Other Tops
Graphic tees will continue to be popular for the rest of the year so this Stay Golden tank is such a cute and colorful print and I love the longer length. Only $15 and it comes in other colors.

Band tees continue to be popular and this lip tank is a play on the Rolling Stones. It is a little weird to have lips and teeth on a tank? Yes. But is it eye catching and cute? Of course! This one is also a longer length that can easily be tied in a knot. The shipping on this tank said it was a month out for me and it arrived in less than two weeks. No guarantee that will happen for you, but maybe it will!
This plain blue tee is one of those basics that you never really think to buy, but will wear over and over. It comes in several colors and has a cute double hem at the bottom that lets it hang nicely. The sleeves are banded as well so it is a little longer and more snug in my arms. I like it, but something to keep in mind.
If you are looking for a plain white over sized t-shirt, this is it. Obviously I have it tied in a knot in this photo, but it is a nice, longer length. Wear it like a tunic, tuck it in or tie it. I’m wearing the small and love the fit because it isn’t too big up top. This one I’m definitely ordering in other colors.
This cute eyelet sleeve top is perfect for spring or summer. Wear it with jeans like I have on here or throw on some shorts and you are good to go. It runs true to size, comes in other colors and is a total statement piece. The photos on Amazon show that it can be worn off the shoulder, but you would need to size up in order to wear it that way.
Need a different option for a long sleeve top that totally works for spring and summer? This lace sleeve shirt is it. One thing to note, it does have a couple buttons that are on one side of the top near the sleeve. I truly don’t know why the buttons are there and think they are unnecessary, but they aren’t noticeable so it doesn’t bother me. This one would also be adorable with cutoff shorts and sandals, and it comes in other colors.
I’ve been living in sweatshirts since the COVID quarantine started, so this cute Good Vibes graphic sweatshirt has been on repeat. The saying boasts good energy and it’s just cozy.
Pajamas
I think we’ve all had a few days where we haven’t made ourselves get out of our pajamas lately. After all, there is nowhere to go! With this cute tie dye shorts set, there’s no need to change because it is so cute! It runs true to size, has adjustable straps and a stretchy waist.
This palm print pj’s are actually from last year, but I added them to this list again because they’ve been in the quarantine rotation at my house. These are made out of a silky kind of material and are super cozy. They are only available in a couple sizes so I included a few other options above as well.
These striped pj’s are another oldie but a goodie. They come in a ton of different prints and colors and have a nice, cozy over sized fit. They are under $30 and a pair you’ll wear for years to come.
I have recently ordered a couple new pairs of pajamas, but again due to slower shipping times on Amazon, they haven’t yet arrived. I can’t vouch for the quality and comfort, but how cute is this tie dye pj set? Everything about it looks like it will be my new favorite set. I’ll be sure to update this post after they arrive.
The star trend is another big one for 2020 and so this star pajama set is en route to my home. The bottoms on this set looked a little smaller so I decided to size up just in case. Hopefully that wasn’t a mistake, but I’ll keep you guys posted.
Shorts and Leggings
Again, more stars. These denim star shorts received AMAZING reviews so I couldn’t resist ordering them in the star print. They also come in multiple different plain denim colors, as well as black and white, if you are looking for something more basic. I did size up in these as I usually do in shorts and went with a medium. I mean, who really likes tight shorts? They are super stretchy and I personally love the fit. For the $27 price tag, these are good ones.
I know, same photo as above, but I didn’t have a chance to take a better picture of these cute camo shorts. I snagged them for only $8 on a lightening deal, but I can say they are worth the $16 full price tag. They come in 4 color combos and run true to size (I’m wearing the small – medium). If you are usually more in the medium/large size range, definitely go up in size.
I couldn’t resist the $13 price tag on these tie dye leggings. I’ll admit, they are better for running errands and lounging than exercising. They didn’t quite pass the jumping jack test, but they are cozy and comfortable for everything else. Sizes are periodically restocked in there so check back from time to time if they are out of your size.
Swimsuits
I’ve been a big fan of Amazon swim for the past couple years. I used to spend at least $100+ on a swimsuit or two each year and would still be disappointed in the fit of them after a few dips in the pool. I’ve given up on that approach and now order 4-5 cheaper Amazon suits every year. Yes, I get the occasional fail, but honestly, most of them are actually wins. Just make sure to read the reviews for sizing info!
This black cross neck suit is definitely my favorite of the year. There is something about the neckline and the waist that is super flattering. The $20-30 price tag (depending on size) is awesome, too. I went with my normal size small (size 4-6 on the size chart), but if you have a long torso definitely size up. This swimsuit comes in other colors, too!
I bought this one shoulder yellow ruffle swimsuit late in the season in 2019 and so it’s back in the rotation this year. I know not all people are fans of the color yellow so note this one is available in other colors. I like how the ruffle comes down on the body in front of my belly. I’ll take anything that will distract attention from my mid-sections!!
My daughter is at the age right now where she LOVES matching me. This leopard mommy and me swimsuit set is seriously the cutest and so affordable! Kenzie’s suit was only $11 and mine was $22. She begs me to be twins with her every single time we swim. I found both the womens and kids sizes run true to size.
Looking for a cute yellow leopard one piece for only $15?! This is it! I will say the bottom is a little cheeky. Nothing inappropriate for wearing around kids, but definitely not full coverage. It also comes in a few other colors and runs true to size if you have a shorter torso. Definitely size up if you have a longer torso.
Also, this chiffon maxi skirt is another awesome Amazon find. Im wearing it here as a cover-up, but it is lined so you can totally wear it with a tank top or graphic t-shirt. Comes in other colors, too!
This colorful pom pom one piece runs small (I have on the size medium), but it’s SO CUTE! It’s adorable with my favorite $15 Amazon sun hat and printed kimono cover up.
This tie dye one piece has only had an XL in stock for weeks, but the colors are super cute!! Amazon frequently restocks so this is one to keep your eye on. The back is a little cheeky, but it’s such a fun, classic suit. I also included a new tie dye one piece above that I’m considering ordering. That one is super colorful and only $20.
Kimonos
I’ve been a kimono lover for as long as I can remember. Wear them in the summer with shorts, over t-shirts with jeans, or over a swimsuit as a cover up. This snake print kimono is super lightweight and the $17 price tag isn’t too bad, either. This style also comes in other prints if you aren’t digging the snakeskin.
If leopard is more your style, this animal print kimono is amazing. Being totally honest, I like the material and rounded hem on this one a tiny bit more than the snake print one above. Both are awesome, though. If anything this one is a little longer in length, too.
If you made it this far in the post, I’m impressed. Thanks for hanging with me. This leopard kimono is a lot shorter than the other one so I figured it was worth sharing, too. Also, if you’ve been paying attention, you’ve seen these studded jelly sandals several times throughout this post. They are also an Amazon find, but the only problem is they sell out as quickly as they restock. I couldn’t locate my exact pair at the moment, but this one and this one are similar. I’ll update the post if they ever restock.
Whew, that was a lot. If you ever have any questions on sizing, feel free to send me an email (jenny@thesensibleshopaholic.com) or shoot me a DM on Instagram (@thesensibleshopaholic). I’m always happy to help!!
