Christmas Bark Recipe

The easiest no bake Christmas bark recipe

This is actually my very first, and possibly last, recipe on the blog. I actually enjoy cooking, but I’m not the biggest fan of grocery shopping and dishes. However, I make a pretty darn good white chocolate bark. This recipe originated as a Halloween recipe, but since there are so many treats around that time of year, it morphed into a Christmas recipe. Next time you are invited to a cookie party or need an easy treat, here is the best Christmas bark recipe out there.

You will need the following ingredients:

  • 1 – 12oz bag of white chocolate. I use the Wilton candy melts (sold on Amazon here or at craft stores) or you could use real white chocolate
  • 1/2 cup Christmas candy corn. I found mine at Sprouts but there are also a few options available on Amazon here.
  • 8 Christmas colored Oreo cookies
  • 1 cup of Pretzels
  • Christmas colored sprinkles

When I make this recipe, I usually double or triple it just so I have extras to give as gifts. When I went to a cookie party earlier this month, I actually made a quadruple batch. Honestly, it is minimal effort to double this recipe and trust me, you will want extras.

Break the pretzels and Oreo’s into small pieces and set aside in separate bowls. I usually use a fork or muddler to do this, but any kitchen utensil that allows you to smoosh things should do the trick. Melt the chocolate in the microwave or stove top by following the directions on the bag.

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. I’ve also used a silicone baking sheet instead but I felt like the whole mixture stayed together slightly more with the parchment paper. Either will work though so use whatever you have on hand.

Scatter the Oreo’s, pretzel pieces and half of the candy corn on the cookie sheet. Pour the melted chocolate on top of the mixture and use a spatula to spread the chocolate around. The edges likely won’t look perfect and that’s ok. Just try to get as much of it covered by chocolate as possible. Top with sprinkles and the rest of the candy corn.

Put the cookie sheet in the fridge for a few hours or overnight to set. If you live somewhere cold, feel free to use a cold garage or similar for it to harden quickly. Once it is 100% set and not at all soft in the middle, use a knife to break the bark into small pieces. Try to not eat it all in one sitting (this will be the hard part).

Seriously the easiest recipe ever, right? I love easy no-bake recipes like this that are flat out yummy.
