I’m one of those people who genuinely loves getting adequate beauty sleep. Although it doesn’t happen every single night (usually because of my lovely little kids), I do my best to get 8 glorious hours. When I do, I feel and look my best and am ready to tackle the day. Let’s just say giant bags under my eyes aren’t the type of bags I’m interested in. I’m more into the purse variety instead.

I was so excited when Tuft & Needle asked me to partner up with them and spread the word about their amazing mattresses. Tuft & Needle makes foam mattresses that are super high quality and made at an affordable price. “Affordable” and “quality” are two words I personally like so this was a collaboration made in Sensible Shopaholic heaven. All mattress sizes cost $900 or less, which is crazy cheap. We had to buy my daughter a mattress about a year ago (before I heard about T&N) and I was appalled at the prices in my local mattress store. This company has figured it out.
I’ll admit, I was a tad skeptical about the comfort level of a $900 king-sized mattress. My husband and I bought our old mattress about 10 years ago and I know we paid more than twice as much than a T&N a full decade ago. The day our new mattress arrived, I was excited to give that bad boy a try. The box arrived on my doorstep and I couldn’t believe the size. It was shorter than me and looked nothing like what I’d typically expect a mattress box to look like.
After unrolling the mattress and cutting open the packaging, the mattress filled with air and resumed standard king mattress format. I will say, it does have a tad firmer feel to it than the mattress we were using previously, but still super comfy. If you love super cushy pillow-top mattresses, this might not be the one for you. However, for most people, I bet you’d agree with me and find T&N comfortable as well. In fact, I accidentally slept in a full hour longer than I meant to after my first night sleeping on it. Oops. I was also worried about the foam being warm like some other foam beds (remember, we are just at the beginning of our Arizona summer) and it actually feels nice and cool. I’ve been sleeping soundly ever since. Well, when my kids let me.
You can buy their mattresses on the Tuft & Needle website, as well as on Amazon. Anytime I can purchase something online instead of going to a store, it is a win in my book. Tuft & Needle has a 100 night return policy and a 10 year no-hassle warranty, so if you change your mind for any reason or run into any issues, they will refund your money and donate your mattress to a local charity. The company is based here in Phoenix, AZ so I’m happy to be able to support a local business.
As usual, I saved the best part for last. Tuft & Needle is giving away a mattress (you pick the size) to one of my lucky followers!!!! Yes, seriously. No gimmicks or crazy entry requirements. As long as you are over 18 and live in the US, you are eligible to enter. I’m running the giveaway over on my Instagram page so head over there to enter. All you have to do is follow me, like my post, and share your ideal sleeping conditions. Mine involve a cold room, a thunderstorm, a giant fluffy blanket, and kids that are also sleeping. That sounds wonderful to me right about now.
And since I know someone is going to ask, my cute floral pj’s are from good old Target.
Have you ever bought a mattress on the internet before? Would you be willing to try one out? How about win one? Let me know in the comments below!

It is hard for my wife to even get ONE beauty sleep since we have kids. Thank you for the info. I will check that out for my wife!
