OK ladies. We have less than 2 days till the biggest shopping day of the year. #shopaholicdreamday
Am I the only one excited to go shopping on Black Friday and make some progress on my gift list? Earlier this week, I posted about my top six tips to surviving Black Friday, and now I’m putting together a game plan for Friday. Yes, a shopping game plan. Call me pathetic, or call me organized. Whatever, I’ll take it.
I feel like Black Friday has taken a turn for the better this year. We’ve all heard the horror stories over the past few years (hello, people were trampled running through stores???). Well, a lot of retailers have already started their Black Friday sales and most are offering the same discounts online. No need to deal with the crazies to get a bargain!
There are still a few stores who don’t release their Black Friday promotions ahead of time, so I wouldn’t consider this an all-inclusive list. However, I’ve included a few of my favorite Black Friday sales below:
GAP will be having 50% off everything. Yes, everything. Even better, the 50% off promotion starts today using code EARLY. On top of that, for those of you who plan to make a trip into the store on Friday morning, GAP will be handing out free tote bags and everything you can stuff inside will be an additional 10% off. I have no idea what time the tote bag promotion will start or how many they will have, but a flyer advertising this sale was thrown into my shopping bag last time I was in the store. One item I have on my wish list this year is a buffalo plaid flannel. Cute, cute, cute.
I already blogged about my favorite Target Black Friday deals here, but in case you forgot, this post is serving as your friendly reminder. Target will have 40% off all clothing, shoes, accessories and jewelry, plus a ton of awesome sales on electronics, toys and home stuff. In fact, all toys are already 20% off online if you use promo code TOYS through today (11/25). Target is being uber vague about when their online promotion will start, but it will be sometime “in the early hours of Thanksgiving”. No clue if that means 12:01 am or 6 am, but I guess we will have to wait and see what happens. I’m secretly hoping it is 12:01 am EST so that I can start my shopping at 10 pm tonight since I’m on the west coast. #pleasepleaseplease
Kendra Scott announced today her Black Friday sale starts online and in stores through 11/30. 15% off all orders, including sale, and free shipping until Christmas. Glad the shipping scrooge didn’t get the best of Kendra! These Parker Stud earrings are adorable and come to $29.72 after the promo code.
Speaking of Kendra Scott, Nordstrom just added a TON of KS items to their sale, including this Hayden pendant necklace. I already have the Isla pendant necklace (which is also on sale!!!) and really want the Hayden necklace so I can layer them and wear them together. Nordstrom doesn’t offer the same type of promotions as other stores on Black Friday, but they do have a designer clearance sale going on right now. A lot of great sales for those of you who have designer taste. #illadmitido
Y’all know Tory Burch is one of my other favorite designers and she just announced 30% off sitewide for purchases over $250 using code THANKS. I was a little disappointed with the minimum purchase amount of $250 to get the discount, but I suppose it isn’t hard to reach that dollar amount shopping on the site. I’m crushing on this black nylon baby bag. Not sure if I’ve been that good this year.
Old Navy’s Black Friday sale started today with 50% off the entire store. However, they are only offering 40% off online using code SWEET, valid through the end of today (11/25). They might match the same promotion online on Black Friday, but for now, the big sale is only in stores. I purchased this same fur vest for my daughter about a month ago when I blogged about vests in one of my Trend Alerts. Fair warning, my daughter is 16 months old and when I first showed the vest to her, she was terrified. I’m talking TERRIFIED, as if I just tried to make her pet a lion or something. However, she has come around to it and insists on wearing it almost everyday. I saw a little girl this week wearing the fur vest paired with this burgundy tutu dress and it was maybe the cutest combo ever. I will be getting her the tutu dress to wear with the vest for the holidays.
Madewell is offering 25% off your entire order using code CALMDOWN through 11/30. You’ve already seen these grey flannel Vans in my slip on sneaker post, and I’m hoping Santa gets the memo they are now on sale.
Vineyard Vines is offering 40% off all their sale items using code GOBBLE2015. This Hampton River Plaid shirt goes down to $41.99 with the promo code. I know my Santa has preppy taste.
I’ve seen countless commercials on TV saying Victoria’s Secret is offering a free sequin tote and body care essentials with any $75 purchase. #notthatexciting. Vicky’s also has a promotion for free slippers with any pajama purchase using code LOVESLIPPERS. These plaid flannel pjs are so cute and would be perfect for any female. Not sure I would let my belly button hang out quite like this girl, but whatever. To each their own.
J. Crew is offering 30% off your entire purchase or 40% off clearance items with code HOLIDAY. I might be channeling my inner lumberjack, but I love this buffalo check vest.
J. Crew Factory is offering 50% off the entire store (prices as marked). I usually hit up the outlets on Black Friday and they historically have handed out coupons for an additional 20% off your purchase before noon. You know where to find me on Friday morning. J. Crew Factory is also promoting flannel shirts for $29.95 (both men and women). I own this Grapevine statement necklace and it is amazing because it includes black stones. How many of you wear black to work on a daily basis? This is the most perfect necklace to go with your work wardrobe. #addittothewishlist
Children’s Place is offering 50 – 70% off everything plus free shipping online. I’ll admit, Children’s Place can be a little hit or miss for me, as sometimes they tend to put too much stuff on their clothes. However, on occasion, I’ll find a few items that I absolutely love for dirt cheap. I’m considering getting this sequin heart tutu dress for my niece. She would wear pink and tutus every single day if it was up to her (her mom feels otherwise), so I’m pretty sure this would be the perfect outfit for her. When I saw it in the store, it actually looked more like something you’d find at J. Crew than Children’s Place, but half of what J. Crew’s kids clothes cost. Score.
Crate and Barrel is one of my very favorite places to go for stocking stuffers or small gifts. Kitchen towels are the perfect gift for anyone who loves to entertain because, let’s be honest, kitchen towels just get nasty after a while. My kids would be so excited to have these nutcracker towels hanging in my kitchen. And the best part, they are only $5.95 each!!
Pottery Barn Kids is offering 20% off your entire purchase with code GREATGIFTS. Fair warning, PB Kids always has a ton of exclusions, so make sure to read the fine print before getting too excited. Since my daughter is still young enough to not really “get” Christmas, I’ll probably get her more functional and practical gifts this year. You know, things I want that she’ll use. My son has one of these step stools with his name on it that we use in the bathroom, so I’ll probably order Kenzie one, too. Because God knows they won’t want to share when they are brushing their teeth. That would make too much sense.
Hannah Andersson keeps changing their daily promotions on me, so I’m not convinced they have rolled out their real-deal Black Friday promotions yet. However, today they have some of the girls dresses for only $19, which is dirt cheap for that store. This particular layered skater dress is actually $29, but I saw it in the store and it was adorable.
lululemon doesn’t exactly have a Black Friday promotion going on right now (too cool for school), but they do have a few great items on their We Made Too Much page. I love this What the Sport Singlet for $34. However, since the WMTM stuff is all final sale, it might be worthwhile to check with the recipient to confirm sizing since all items are final sale. That is unless you are “gifting” the item to yourself. #noshameinthatgame
Finally, don’t forget about the Kate Spade surprise sale that I blogged about yesterday.
Like I said, Black Friday is a shopaholic’s dream day. Happy shopping!!!
